Position Overview
We are seeking a committed and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to deliver specialized psychological services within our Older Peoples Services. This role encompasses working with a Community Mental Health Team and a Memory Assessment and Treatment service, focusing on enhancing the mental well-being of older adults.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical leadership and expert consultation, particularly for older adults and individuals with dementia.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments, including neuropsychological evaluations, to inform treatment strategies.
- Fostering a psychologically informed environment through training, supervision, and team-based formulations.
- Delivering specialized assessments to support treatment planning and intervention.
- Consulting with the Inreach/Outreach team to address unmet needs using established models.
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and research projects.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role includes providing training and mentorship to other professionals, ensuring a collaborative approach to care.
