Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to oversee operations at a construction site. This role is crucial for ensuring that all site activities are executed efficiently and safely.

Company Background:
The hiring organization specializes in developing energy systems that harness renewable resources. Their portfolio includes wind, hydroelectric, and solar power generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing all site operations, including setup, client relations, project documentation, and efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies while meeting contractual obligations.
  • Maintaining discipline and best practices on-site to enhance safety and minimize operational costs.
  • Overseeing the construction phase to ensure that all project commitments are fulfilled within budget.

Operational Duties:
Your operational responsibilities will include:
  • Reviewing and implementing the Health and Safety plan, Site Quality Plan, and Project Plan.
  • Coordinating site setup and management processes.
  • Facilitating the receipt, control, and use of materials and information.
  • Preparing method statements and risk assessments to ensure clarity and safety in operations.
  • Monitoring subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A relevant qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical construction techniques.

Experience Requirements:
Applicants should have:
  • Experience in the installation and maintenance of substation equipment.
  • A solid understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
  • Leadership experience in a construction environment.

Skills and Competencies:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
  • Excellent communication skills across various levels.
  • Proficiency in HSE regulations in construction.
  • Strong organizational skills for budget and project management.
