Construction Manager / Operations Manager

A leading regional construction contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the construction division and oversee operations carried out by the site delivery teams.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with experience in managing programmes, health and safety, and budgets.

The company is a privately owned construction firm operating as a main contractor, developer, and consultancy, delivering projects across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

The Construction Manager will work closely with the Managing Director and Commercial Director to manage the construction division and ensure projects are delivered to programme and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the department and operations teams
  2. Oversee projects during the pre-construction phase
  3. Ensure projects are delivered to programme
  4. Ensure projects are delivered safely

Requirements:

  1. Experience as a Senior PM / Contracts Manager / Operations Manager
  2. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  3. Experience managing programmes, H&S, budgets
  4. Experience working with a building contractor

Salary & Package:

Basic salary of £72,500 - £77,500 (DOE), Company Car Allowance (£5,000), Excellent bonus scheme, Pension scheme.

To qualify for the higher rate of pay, you must be able to demonstrate a track record delivering multiple construction projects simultaneously as a Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Construction Manager, or Operations Manager up to £3m or above with a building contractor.
