Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Director to join our client's team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in driving digital transformation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to promote a positive work environment and ensure team success.

Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring quality of service, adherence to SLAs, and cost-effectiveness. Identify and mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system vulnerabilities, through proactive measures and continuous monitoring.

Drive organisational change and adoption of new technologies by effectively communicating with stakeholders, addressing concerns, and championing the benefits of change.

Develop and implement IT governance processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Lead on business continuity planning, ensuring the company's IT systems and operations are resilient and recoverable in the event of a disaster.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced IT Director with a strong background in logistics or a related industry. You will have a proven track record of leading IT teams, developing and executing IT strategies, and driving digital transformation. Your expertise in SAP implementation, particularly S4 Hana, is highly desirable. You will be comfortable influencing and reporting at Board level, as well as leading and mentoring an IT team.
