British American Tobacco UK is seeking highly motivated and talented undergraduate students to join our Research & Development function in Southampton on a 12-month placement.
We are looking for students working towards an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Psychology, Consumer Behaviour, or a related discipline to support our Population Health and Consumer Behaviour Team. The successful candidate will work on designing and conducting human studies to provide key insights for business-critical projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and drafting key study documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct human studies to provide key insights for business-critical projects
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to design and carry out studies to understand aspects of consumer behaviour and product use
- Active involvement in all aspects of study life cycle – from planning and conducting to data analysis, to review and reporting
- Drafting of key study documentation including protocols, statistical analysis plans, study reports, and manuscripts
