Octagon Group is seeking a skilled Electronics Test Engineer to join our team in a production role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all aspects of test engineering, including fault diagnostics, production support, and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and validate High Voltage Switch Mode Power Supplies and Travelling Wave Tubes with output voltages of up to 35kV.
  • Ensure products meet test parameters for all test result specifications and create detailed evaluation reports.
  • Identify and diagnose failures to component level, document findings accurately, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with R&D to test and validate prototypes.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an electronics or RF environment, with a strong understanding of analog and digital circuitry.
  • Security clearance required.
  • A good understanding of high voltage power supply circuitry and experience with documenting test processes and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
