Financial Institutions Credit Analyst

MNI is seeking a skilled Financial Institutions Credit Analyst to join our global markets team. As a key member of the Credit team, you will provide in-depth analysis of financial issuers, including news flow, earnings, ratings, and regulatory developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct real-time analysis of financial institutions, including credit ratings, financial health, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing tailored credit analysis and market insights.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Markets and the wider markets team to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and their impact on the financial markets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in a quantitative subject, preferably with a master's degree in a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of the European credit market and its interaction with the macro and political environment.
  • Deep understanding of bank capital structures, including AT1 and Tier2 instruments, and bank regulation.
  • Direct experience in financial markets, either on the buyside or sellside, as a credit analyst or trader.
