Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team. As a Sales Professional, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement
    • Provide quotations for customers
    • Deal with customers both face to face and over the telephone
    • Give excellent customer service and sound product advice
  • Sales and Business Development
    • Take a proactive approach to building product sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale
    • Use a customer relationship management system (CRM) holding a portfolio of 50+ customers
    • Generate new business with existing and new customers
    • Upsell and gap analysis on existing customers
    • Cold calling
    • Lead qualifying
    • Quote follow up
  • Qualifications and Skills
    • Motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, self-driven, positive attitude
    • Sound building supplies knowledge is required
    • Previous sales experience in a builder's merchant environment is a necessity
    • Confident dealing with customers
    • The ability to build great customer relationships
    • A good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Computer literate
