About the Role:
Safe Link is seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to fill the position of Adult Complex Needs Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA). As a key member of our integrated team, you will provide critical support and advocacy to victims and survivors of rape or sexual assault.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empathize with the needs of victims and survivors of sexual violence
- Understand the impact of sexual violence and abuse on victims and survivors
- Develop and implement trauma-informed approaches to meet survivors' needs
- Collaborate with Bridge (SARC), CYPS, Police, CPS, and other agencies to provide comprehensive support
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Good understanding of the traumatic impact of sexual assault and rape
- Knowledge of the criminal justice process
- Commitment to providing a high-quality, survivor-focused, and inclusive service
- Current full driving license and access to an appropriate vehicle
