About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient security service to our clients, ensuring the safety and security of people and assets.
Key Responsibilities- Meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure a positive experience.
- Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, procedures, systems, and developments to provide staff and visitors with information as required.
- Maintain a smart appearance and comply with Bidvest Noonan's general policy with regards to dress code/uniform.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls using the correct protocols.
- Maintain close working relationships with the relevant Building Management team and coordinate efforts with respect to matters such as Emergency Procedures, Building Safety, Fire and Bomb threat evacuations.
- Ensure a thorough handover at the completion of each shift with Security personnel.
- A valid SIA Licence.
- Proven experience in Corporate Security or a relevant role (a minimum of 12 months).
- Basic computer literacy required.
