About the Role:

To support the service team with site-based activities, including commissioning, modification, and maintenance of electrical distribution equipment. This role will involve traveling across the UK and Ireland, with a primary base in the Cardiff area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, commissioning, and assist maintenance teams in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical distribution equipment.
  • Carry out Asco, ATS switch maintenance and repair, as well as EV charger inspection and commissioning.
  • Install and connect asset advisor equipment, and install switchgear and transformers.
  • Conduct site risk assessments and complete LOTO documents to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Be willing to work across the UK and Ireland, which may involve working away from home.
  • Hold a full driving license and passport.
  • Demonstrate appropriate underpinning knowledge in the form of academic qualifications.
  • Be well-grounded in the principles and application of electrical safety from the risks associated with live LV/HV networks.
