Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Administrative Coordinator to join our Cardiology division.

This role presents an opportunity within the Adult Medicine Directorate of Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust for a full-time position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and efficient administrative and secretarial support service to all medical professionals, including consultants and specialist nurses, within the clinical unit. Handle printing, photocopying, scanning, and filing of documents while adhering to all necessary information governance principles. Maintain records of consultants' holidays and absences. Ensure effective and discreet email communication with patients and manage appointment bookings via telephone in a professional manner.

We are looking for candidates with prior secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, who possess excellent audio typing skills and a basic understanding of medical terminology. The ability to prioritize tasks and manage a busy workload is essential.

In compliance with government regulations regarding mandatory vaccinations for COVID-19, we require all staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless medically exempt.
