These positions will be based in our office, with potential for hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop practical and effective technical solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Assess current and prospective manufacturers for technical proficiency and compliance.
  • Conduct technical analyses on project-related issues and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
  • Evaluate engineering and design proposals for significant projects.
  • Review and enhance engineering documentation, including procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Experience with HAZOP and SIL assessments, with knowledge of IEC 61511.
  • Collaborate with design and operations engineers, procurement teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Engage with clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
  • BSc in Electrical, Process, or Process Control Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in instrumentation and control engineering within the oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors.
  • Experience with projects in the Middle East is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and control fundamentals, including flow, level, pressure, temperature, and process analysis.
  • Proven experience in instrument selection for process applications.
  • Strong understanding of boiler, process heater, and furnace control systems.
  • Familiarity with materials and selection criteria for inline instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems for instrumentation, including cabling, wiring methods, and hazardous area design.
  • Comprehensive understanding of national and international standards related to ISA, ANSI, ASME, API, NFPA, and IEC.
  • Field experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical industries, including installation and commissioning of instruments.
  • Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), including Foundation Fieldbus.
  • Proficient in using project control systems and conducting final acceptance tests.
  • Computer literate with advanced skills in office and technical software.
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
