About the Role:
Liberty CL Recruitment is seeking an experienced Depot Supervisor to join our client's team in Nottingham. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the depot, maintaining company vehicles, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on depot key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure the depot and all staff, contractors, and visitors adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Supervise drivers, including timesheets, appearance, uniforms, and documentation, and implement driver training programs
- Provide general administrative support to the depot team
- Ensure the depot is well-maintained and required maintenance is carried out
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role and logistics knowledge
- Working knowledge of health and safety practices and a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example
- Resilience and tenacity in a fast-paced environment
