As HR Manager, you will be responsible for building an environment that allows staff and volunteers to flourish, working closely with the senior management team to develop and implement HR strategies and goals.

You will have the opportunity to shape and develop existing HR services, processes, and policies, using your HR and employment law knowledge and experience to provide guidance and support to managers and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • HR advice and guidance to managers and staff
  • Employee lifecycle and HR administration
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Performance management and reward and wellbeing plans
  • Developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and procedures

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification with CIPD membership (or working towards this or demonstrate suitable equivalent level of experience)
  • Experience of working in a stand-alone HR role or be open to being the "all-rounded" HR support
