Job Title: Healthcare Assistants

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Job Summary:

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our service users, including personal care, medication administration, and assisting with daily activities. You will work closely with our nursing team to ensure that our service users receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to service users, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medication as prescribed by our nursing team
  • Assist service users with daily activities, such as eating, drinking, and mobility
  • Work closely with our nursing team to ensure that service users receive the best possible care
  • Maintain accurate records of service user care and medication administration
Requirements:
  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
Desirable Requirements:
  • Experience of working with complex conditions, such as spinal injury care, acquired brain injury care, and tracheostomy care
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends
