Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team treating individuals with Eating Disorders. This role is part of our Community Mental Health Transformation initiative, focusing on providing an outpatient service for adults with moderate and severe Eating Disorders.

As a Dietitian, you will work alongside a team of professionals, including Eating Disorder Practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, and Clinical Psychologists, to provide dietetic assessments and interventions. You will attend weekly multidisciplinary team meetings and have access to supervision and training opportunities to ensure you meet your annual registration requirements.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing dietetic assessments and interventions for individuals with Eating Disorders
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Attending weekly multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to case discussions
  • Participating in supervision and training opportunities to maintain professional development

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or equivalent in Nutrition and Dietetics or a degree and PG qualification in Dietetics
  • HCPC registration as a Dietitian
  • Membership of the British Dietetic Association
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development and a Professional Portfolio

Desirable criteria include British Dietetic Association Specialist Courses and access to or willingness to undertake a Master's Level programme, clinical supervisory skills, and management training.
