Job Overview
We are seeking an innovative psychologist to join our Mental Health and Wellness Teams (MHWT) in Waltham Forest. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of psychologists, clinical associate psychologists, and peer support workers to identify and build relationships with third sector organizations.
Main Duties
- Work closely with other community psychologists, clinical associate psychologists, and peer support workers to identify and build relationships with third sector organizations.
- Amplify the voices of those who are less well-served by mainstream, statutory services using community engagement models, co-production with organizations, and those with lived experience.
- Join a collaborative of psychological professionals across East London working within a community psychology framework.
Person Specification
- Post-graduate qualification in psychology or a psychological therapy (clinical or counselling psychology, psychotherapy) accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- HCPC registered.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients presenting with complex and enduring mental health problems in community and secondary care psychological services.
- Experience of multi-disciplinary team working.
- Experience of work in a multi-cultural setting, including working with interpreters.
