DevOps Engineer - Azure DevOps/CI/CD/Terraform and Ansible - is sought by a leading global technology firm.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to become part of our innovative team. The successful candidate will take charge of designing, executing, and sustaining our infrastructure solutions, ensuring the effective and dependable delivery of software through CI/CD pipelines, while applying contemporary DevOps methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps.

2. Develop and manage infrastructure as code through Terraform and Ansible.

3. Monitor and administer both cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including VMware, AWS, and Azure environments.

4. Collaborate with development teams to refine and improve the software delivery process.

5. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure.

6. Automate operational processes and enhance deployment strategies.

7. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment challenges.

8. Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to guarantee system performance and availability.

9. Stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and infrastructure management.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline development and management.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring tools and practices for cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Expertise in managing and monitoring VMware environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.
  • Solid grasp of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Azure, AWS, or VMware.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with additional configuration management tools.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of infrastructure.

Contract Type: 6 month rolling contract
