About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Tesco Colleague in our Ammanford Superstore. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and helping to drive sales growth.

Availability Window

We are looking for someone who is available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. Our availability window is as follows:

  • Wednesdays: 18:45-20:15
  • Thursdays: 19:00-20:30
  • Saturdays: 19:00-20:30

What We Offer

As a Tesco Colleague, you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate, starting at £12.02, with opportunities for pay increases and additional payments depending on location and skills. You will also receive a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work fewer hours if preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Tesco Colleague, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and helping to drive sales growth
  • Working across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas
  • Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition
  • Being knowledgeable about your store's performance and understanding the part you play in driving service and sales
  • Being yourself, living our values, and making everyone feel welcome

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for delivering great service and greeting customers with a smile
  • Can build rapport with customers and make decisions that are right for them
  • Is able to work well within a team and communicate openly with others
  • Is at work on time, well-presented, and ready to be a brand ambassador
