Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team within the Dairy Yogurt & Dessert sector. This position is crucial for ensuring the operational integrity and upkeep of our facilities, while also providing support to the production department, overseeing minor capital expenditures, and maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and troubleshoot utility systems
  • Diagnose and implement corrective measures
  • Address and resolve equipment failures
  • Facilitate root cause analysis processes
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks
  • Manage contractors engaged in utility services

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program
  • Proven experience in maintenance roles
  • Background in the manufacturing sector
  • Mechanical or electrical specialization
  • ONC/HNC certification
  • Experience with utilities, boiler systems, refrigeration, water systems, PSSR, and LOLER regulations
