Job Description

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our young residents. This will involve maintaining appropriate boundaries, exercising control in a supportive manner, and collaborating with families, carers, and other professionals to advocate for and safeguard our residents.

  • Competitive Pay: £11.75 - £14.46 per hour, based on experience.
  • Additional Benefits: £66 per sleep-in, typically 6-8 nights per month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of young people, addressing their holistic needs.
  • Maintaining appropriate boundaries and exercising control in a supportive manner.
  • Collaborating with families, carers, and other professionals to advocate for and safeguard our residents.
  • Flexibility in working various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Upholding a culture of respect, inclusivity, and confidentiality.
Essential Requirements
  • Some previous experience in children's residential care or similar settings is preferred.
  • Senior roles require a Level 3/4 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Full-time availability (40 hours/week), including sleep-ins and occasional residential trips.
  • A valid manual driving license.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting equal opportunities.
