Job Description

Role Summary

Morgan Ryder is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our Product Development team in creating innovative electrical systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and launching high-performance products that meet and exceed international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage and execute product and system testing, ensuring our products meet and exceed international standards.
  • Technology Integration: Seek out and integrate the latest technologies to enhance product performance and create next-gen solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve our design tools, testing methods, and data analysis techniques to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Project Ownership: Take ownership of projects through the entire Product Development & Introduction (PDI) phase, from idea to launch.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with global Engineering teams and cross-functional departments to share knowledge, best practices, and drive the success of our products.
  • Culture Development: Help cultivate a team culture that embraces continuous improvement and challenges the status quo at every turn.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay at the forefront of industry developments by participating in conferences, events, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential. A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field will give you an edge.
  • Experience: Proven track record in designing, developing, testing, and launching innovative products.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of data transmission principles, data cabling, and data communications is advantageous. Experience in structured cabling, data transmission, and data communication will set you apart. Proficient in using electrical design, analysis, and test equipment/tools. Hands-on experience with signal integrity testing and network analysers is a must. Familiarity with statistical analysis tools like Minitab or JMP is a bonus. Strong experience in leading and successfully delivering complex technical projects. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Six Sigma methodologies are highly valued. Communicator: Excel at communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
