Typical Daily Responsibilities:
- 1st Line Support: Deliver assistance through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Hardware & Software Setup: Aid in the installation of hardware and software tailored to client specifications.
- Configuration: Set up laptops and desktops to ensure they align with client needs.
- Server & Network Setup: Assist in the configuration of servers and contribute to network setups for new users/businesses.
- PowerShell/Scripts: Utilize PowerShell/scripts to efficiently support clients.
- Ticket Management: Manage tickets through the ticketing system, ensuring all inquiries receive a response within the designated service level agreement.
- Data Security: Manage password resets and other data security responsibilities for clients.
Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience:
- Familiarity with hardware and software is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and a genuine interest in technology.
- Capacity to take initiative.
- A minimum of a Grade 4/C in Maths and a Grade 5/C in English is required for this position.
Salary, Hours, and Benefits:
- Salary: £16,000 per annum
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM
- Holidays: 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays
