As a key member of our team, the People Services Manager will be instrumental in enhancing and refining our human resources services and processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
- Address and resolve disciplinary and grievance matters effectively.
- Track and manage all aspects of employee data, including career progression and compensation adjustments.
- Deliver comprehensive reporting capabilities to support business needs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for all HR-related inquiries, collaborating with external support providers as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, or operational customer service roles.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams within these functions.
- Proficiency in HR systems and a strong background in process design and data management.
- Excellent decision-making and prioritization skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Strong delegation capabilities and a commitment to empowering team members.
- Flexibility in approach, adapting style based on the needs of individuals and teams.
- Advanced skills in Office 365, particularly in Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CIPD qualification or progress towards it.
- Experience in multi-site operations and familiarity with the care sector.
- A positive attitude and alignment with our core values of kindness, dedication, empowerment, and innovation.
