Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Counsellors on Placement. This role is designed for those who are passionate about providing emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in partner schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one counselling sessions to children, fostering their mental health and well-being.
  • Engage in regular supervision and participate in tailored training workshops to enhance your skills.
  • Commit to a minimum of one day per week for therapeutic work with students.
  • Participate in an extensive induction program and receive clinical supervision at the end of each day.
  • Attend optional workshops throughout the year, recognized as continuing professional development.
  • Accumulate clinical hours that contribute towards professional accreditation with recognized bodies.
  • Explore opportunities for long-term career growth within our organization.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or currently pursuing one of these qualifications at the following levels:

  • Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or equivalent experience.
  • Degree, MSc, or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or Psychotherapy, with relevant experience working with children.
