Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods between planned sites and drops, completing pre-departure vehicle checks, and adhering to tachograph and working times rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete pre-departure vehicle checks
  • Transport goods between planned sites and drops
  • Complete paperwork and follow compliance
  • Adhere to tachograph and working times rules

Requirements:

  • HGV Class 2 entitlement
  • CPC
  • Digi tacho card
  • No more than 6 points or DR/DU on a licence

What We Offer:

As a Class 2 Driver with Blue Arrow, you will have the opportunity to work with a prestigious client and gain experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We offer competitive pay rates, with dayshift rates starting at £15 per hour, and opportunities for ongoing work for the right candidates.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, with shifts starting between 05:00AM - 06:30AM and lasting between 10-12 hours each day.

Heavy Handballing and Unloading:

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to perform heavy handballing and unloading as you will be delivering kegs and other beer/wine products to restaurants and pubs around the North East.
