Environmental Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Manager to join our Operations Department at Ornua Co-operative Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of our Environment, Health & Safety deployment plan, ensuring compliance with our Group Global Sustainability and Health & Safety Strategy and Targets.
About the Role:- Lead the implementation of Ornua Group Global H&S Standards at our site, ensuring consistent application across the site.
- Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems to manage site Significant Environmental Aspects and impacts.
- Interpret Ornua Group Global H&S Standards and local applicable legislation, developing effective EH&S risk management programmes to ensure compliance.
- Investigate work-related accidents, Environmental and H&S incidents, and support site functional heads to identify corrective and prevention risk management actions.
- Analyse EH&S lagging and leading KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Provide formal and informal EH&S performance updates to internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Environmental Management Qualifications (IEMA/NEBOSH or Equivalent)
- Previous experience as site EH&S Lead or Manager
- EH&S Management System Development and Audit
- Passionate about H&S
