Job Responsibilities
  • Support the Joint Design Office (JDO) Quality Lead in establishing optimized arrangements for Quality Control.
  • Conduct Self-Assessments on new arrangements and support external audits to confirm their adequacy.
  • Participate in regulatory meetings and interventions, adapting applicable procedures or producing new ones as required.
  • Ensure adherence to external standards, such as ISO 9001:2015.
  • Support maintenance and update of the JDO quality portal.
  • Develop and promote the quality culture in the JDO.
  • Participate in Quality Coordination meetings and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support and participate in internal and external quality audits, generating audit reports and progressing follow-up actions.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements.
  • Experience working in a nuclear, engineering, or design office environment.
  • Experience with the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems.
  • Ensuring adequate Quality Controls and implementing good sustainable Quality Controls to safeguard process output.
  • Experienced in complex multi-organizational stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems, including General Quality Assurance Specification (GQAS) and Quality Related Activities (QRA).
  • Qualified internal auditor and performance of quality audits.
  • Experience with training in quality management topics.
  • Experience in performance of Root Cause Analysis.
  • Membership of a Professional Institute leading to Chartered Status in a relevant topic area.
  • Experience in a construction industry.
  • Certificated to ISO 9001 Quality Auditor.
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Site Licence condition requirements related to LC6, LC7, LC17, and LC20.
  • Knowledge/experience in a related engineering/construction delivery environment.
