Job Title: Model Risk Oversight Manager

At TSB Bank plc, we're seeking a highly skilled Model Risk Oversight Manager to join our Risk Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our risk models meet the highest internal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the validation of credit and financial risk models, following our internal framework and external regulation.
  • Produce internal and external reports summarizing the validations, highlighting areas for potential improvement.
  • Support senior management in their interactions across the business and externally.
  • Influence and build relationships with stakeholders from within Risk and the wider TSB Business.
Requirements:
  • A proven background in quantitative risk assessment models and methodologies, with experience in either model development or validation.
  • Experience covering financial products and services, coupled with proven experience working in a specialist Risk function.
  • Strong knowledge of Credit/Financial Model Risk related regulation.
  • Capability to understand complex issues, communicate with clarity, and provide information to senior leaders.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and develop individuals and create high-performing teams.
