Finance and Business Operations Leader

Spire Healthcare is seeking a Finance and Business Operations Leader to become a vital part of our executive management team. This role is pivotal in delivering financial guidance and support to facilitate informed business decisions while ensuring compliance with established controls. The successful candidate will serve as the financial authority for the facility, collaborating closely with the Hospital Director and other senior management members.

Our organization operates a medium-sized private healthcare facility that provides a range of services including inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic care. We pride ourselves on our high levels of staff and patient satisfaction, consistently achieving excellent ratings from regulatory bodies.

As part of Spire's extensive network, which encompasses multiple hospitals, the selected candidate will receive comprehensive support through training and induction from the senior management team and fellow finance leaders across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Hospital Director and Senior Management Team to formulate the business strategy for the facility.
  • Provide leadership in translating and executing the hospital's strategy into operational practices, achieving business objectives and annual operating plans.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to enhance decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Add value to the organization by encouraging innovation and risk-taking to develop a unique service offering.
  • Support business growth by optimizing resource allocation to expand market reach.
  • Ensure effective financial and operational reporting to maintain compliance with corporate standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to deliver high-quality services to patients and consultants.
  • Oversee the establishment of robust data collection processes for accurate performance management reporting.
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of patient services and adherence to contractual obligations.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant experience.
  • Background in a finance role with a strong commercial and operational focus.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in team management.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare sector.
  • Capable of delivering precise financial reports and management accounts.
