Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at ARC Group. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our social housing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies to ensure value for money
  • Manage and monitor expenditure, reconciling cost/value reports and profit forecasts
  • Collaborate with our project teams to ensure compliance with building regulations and Health & Safety legislation
  • Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring effective cost management and scheduling
  • Provide financial assessments and recommendations to inform business decisions
Requirements:
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in the residential new build and social housing sector
  • Knowledge of reactive and planned maintenance, as well as Schedule of Rates and subcontractor management
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
