Room Attendant Opportunity at Raffles London at The OWO

Raffles London at The OWO, a luxurious hotel located on London's Whitehall, is seeking a skilled Room Attendant to join its Rooms Department. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and corridors, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning duties and maintain the care and presentation of all equipment.
  • Schedule and complete the cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, and corridors to required standards.
  • Carry out guest, VIP, and special requests as instructed by your supervisor.
  • Ensure all housekeeping and linen stores are well-maintained and cleaned, stacked according to shelf labels.
  • Use the appropriate cleaning chemicals on all surfaces as per Raffles SOPs.
  • Take responsibility for an allocated section within a hotel floor with supervision.
  • Report technical/engineering issues found in rooms or public areas to the HSK coordinator.
  • Report guest preferences to the housekeeping supervisor/coordinator and act upon requests.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues, the floor team, and EE team if necessary.
  • Carry out spring cleaning duties as directed by the Junior/Floor Housekeeper.
  • Take ownership of the master key, duct phone, and computer/tablet, ensuring you sign items in and out in the housekeeping office.
  • Be flexible in working hours in line with business requirements.
  • Follow the lost property procedure.
  • Greet guests in a professional and polite manner.
  • Respect guest privacy by being quiet and respectful in corridors and service areas.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of providing high levels of service under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
  • An understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule when required.
