Insight Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Insurance Broker Accountant to become a vital part of our team. This role involves supporting the IBA Manager in overseeing two Lloyd's brokers. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience as an IBA Accountant in a Lloyd's broking context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of insurance markets, including Lloyd's, LIRMA, and ILU
- Supervising the activities of team members
- Contributing to IBA initiatives, particularly concerning legacy balances
- Managing intricate client ledgers
- Ensuring prompt collection of funds and payments to underwriters
- Assisting with the rollout of new insurance systems
- Reconciling and addressing unallocated cash and claims discrepancies
- Guaranteeing timely dispatch of monthly broker statements
- Calculating client funds and performing bank reconciliations
Familiarity with the GPM insurance system is advantageous. We promote a hybrid working model and are dedicated to fostering diversity in all its forms.
