Craft Distilling Group is a dynamic and rapidly growing conglomerate with a strong presence in the manufacturing industry.
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team in Richmond, London.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts for shareholders and senior management, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Supervise the conclusion of month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accurate recording and timely reconciliation of all financial transactions, adhering to IFRS principles.
- Oversee VAT returns in UK and IE entities and assist in GST Lodgement in the AU entity.
- Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits, providing required documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Compile and analyze financial data, identifying trends, delivering managerial insights, conducting variance analysis to explain actual performance, and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage inventory, reconcile costs, and create items on our ERP system, ensuring a seamless link between financials, supply chain, operations, commerce, reporting, and manufacturing.
- Directly manage two finance assistants, providing training and review while ensuring they maintain a high level of job satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience working in a similar role for a group/conglomerate, with experience mentoring junior members of staff.
- Experience with CT/VAT/GST reporting (EU specific), multi-currency reporting, commercial and operational understanding of the manufacturing industry, auditing, payroll, and Oracle NetSuite ERP systems.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified, Finalist, or Newly Qualified.
- Proficiency in Excel (Xlookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables, etc.).
