We are seeking an experienced public services lecturer or suitable trainee teacher to join our team at Bucks Skills Hub. As a part-time lecturer, you will have the opportunity to teach students in the Emergency Services, Armed Forces, and HM Prison Service.

The successful candidate will have vocational, professional, and academic experience in the public services and potentially have experience and qualifications in sport. We can provide full teacher training and support for a suitable candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, innovative teaching at all levels.
  • Use current professional, academic, and vocational experience to deliver engaging learning opportunities.
  • Have a range of fitness instruction and coaching qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant area or degree-level qualification in a relevant subject area.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain a designated teaching qualification within a specified time.
  • Maths and English qualification to Level 2 or higher.
  • Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process and Practice (CLIQA) or willingness to work towards.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting Further Education.
  • Relevant, successful experience of instructing, training, or teaching.
