About the Role:

Searcys is seeking a seasoned and charismatic Executive Venue Manager to lead the team at one of their prestigious events venues based in Central London. This venue boasts a great mix of traditional events spaces, ideal for private dining, banqueting, and weddings. The venue operates predominantly Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekends throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, drive business growth, and ensure the overall success of your team and venue.
  • Financial Management: Set an annual budget in line with company targets and deliver forecasts and yearly targets.
  • Team Management: Recruit, motivate, develop, and manage the talents within the venue.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain solid and professional relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the venue meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of management or leadership experience with demonstrable skills and success in leading and developing others.
  • 5+ years of experience in the hospitality and events sector.
  • Experience in managing a P&L.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and performance targets.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience in managing a large-scale management team.
