Training and Development
Our department prides itself on offering comprehensive leadership from experienced Band 7 and 8a Physiotherapists. New starters will benefit from a structured 6-month probationary program that includes a thorough induction process, ensuring a smooth transition into our teams. Rotational Opportunities
As a Band 5 Physiotherapist, you will have the chance to rotate through diverse specialties, including:
- Musculoskeletal Outpatients
- Medical wards, including oncology and frailty
- Admission Avoidance
- Surgical wards
- Elective and trauma Orthopaedics
- Stroke rehabilitation
- Critical Care and Acute Respiratory Unit
- Paediatrics
- Community and Intermediate Care

Key Responsibilities
As a Band 5 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing and managing your own caseload of patients
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Working autonomously within a defined area of service
- Participating in weekend and on-call services after completing necessary training
Support and Supervision
Regular supervision will be provided by experienced Band 6 and 7 therapists, ensuring you have access to guidance and support throughout your practice.

Qualifications and Experience
