Overview: We are pleased to announce a position for a Clinical Trial Facilitator at Imperial College London.

Role Summary: The successful candidate will join the Department of Vascular Surgery and play a crucial role in supporting the Trial Manager in executing a significant multicentre cluster randomised controlled trial funded by NIHR-HTA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting data collection and performing remote follow-ups with study participants.
  • Maintaining and updating the Recruitment Tracker to oversee study recruitment effectively.
  • Engaging in data cleaning processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Assisting in the establishment of new research sites, including conducting site initiation visits and ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared prior to the commencement of research activities.
  • Monitoring the quality of data collected at research sites and through patient self-reported questionnaires.

Candidate Profile: This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to enhance their research skills while working within a collaborative and supportive environment. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A degree-level education.
  • Prior experience in clinical trials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
  • The capability to work independently and manage a diverse workload.
  • Strong communication, administrative, and IT skills.
  • A supportive attitude and openness to new initiatives.

Employment Type: This is a full-time, fixed-term position based at the Charing Cross Campus.
