Job Description

The Role

Ramsay Health Care Clinical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our Orthopaedics team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery, including hip and knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient theatre operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient experience and outcomes.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and theatre efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure best practice.

Requirements

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Proven experience in surgical scrub nursing, including orthopaedic surgery.
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
