About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Westminster. As a Child Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting vulnerable children and families in our community.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with children, young people, families, and carers to identify and address their needs. You will develop and implement safeguarding and protection plans, handle court work, and empower families to improve their future life outcomes.

We are looking for a Social Worker who is passionate about child protection and has a good understanding of the relevant legislation, including the Children Acts 1989 and 2004. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

As a Child Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting assessments and developing safeguarding and protection plans
  • Working with children, young people, families, and carers to identify and address their needs
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families
  • Collaborating with other agencies and professionals to ensure effective service delivery
