Position Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Newport and Torfaen

Compensation: Starting at £80 per day

Employment Type: Full Time and Part Time

Qualifications Required: Must possess a Qualified Teaching Assistant status or have at least 12 weeks of experience in a classroom setting. A DBS on Update Service is necessary or a willingness to obtain one. EWC registration is also required.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support educational activities in the Newport and Torfaen region. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills with students, foster positive learning environments, and exhibit a strong commitment to educational excellence.

Your responsibilities will encompass preparing the classroom for lessons, assisting educators in the preparation of teaching materials and resources, as well as tracking and reporting on student progress. You will also support the teacher in managing classroom behavior and ensuring a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.
