About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join our Forecasting and Stress Testing team at Nationwide Building Society. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our forecasts and stress tests, and will have the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple teams across the society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of regulatory and internal forecasts and stress tests
  • Form productive relationships across Nationwide to ensure that our outputs are accurate and relevant to the wider society's plans
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and queries throughout the forecast process
  • Undertake analysis into both historic and future portfolio behaviour
  • Communicate your analysis with peers and stakeholders in a succinct but complete manner
  • Be a role model and provide support to others on the wider team, displaying a push for better attitude
Requirements
  • Experience in statistical and analytical tools such as SAS and SQL, and proficiency with key Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of the financial services sector
  • Previous experience of analysing/interpreting data in a professional environment
  • Self-motivated, articulate and highly numerate, with experience of presenting/explaining findings to others
  • Experience of building relationships and communicating with confidence, while also working well on your own initiative
