Job Overview

Meritus is seeking a highly skilled B2 Licensed Engineer to join our client's team in Shawbury. As a key member of the certification team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
  • Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs.
  • Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
  • Complete maintenance, including avionic and electrical systems.
  • Replace avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.
  • Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work.
  • Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the Av workshop as required.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Requirements
  • CAA Part 66 B2 Licence.
  • Three years of experience in a certification role.
  • Experience of Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
  • Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of specialized test equipment relating to avionic and electrical systems.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM).
  • Flight/Airport Operations.
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance.
Desirable Skills
  • Type Rating and experience with H135, H145.
  • Experience of Military Aviation.
  • Experience with SAP and ERP software.
