Pump Fitter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pump Fitter to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Pump Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site repairs and maintenance across Essex, ensuring issues are resolved with minimal disruption to service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out on-site repairs and maintenance of pumps and other equipment
  • Visit other depots in the region to maintain and repair pumps in the workshop
  • Ensure issues are resolved with minimal disruption to service
  • Provide solutions to customer queries on site, consulting with the hire desk where required
  • Deliver first-class customer service
  • Consult with the parts department to ensure your van is always stocked
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working on a range of equipment, including compressors, generators, drainage pumps, submersible pumps, centrifugal pumps, bowsers, and small plant
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driving license and ability to use a company van
