Position Overview

Company Overview

We are a prominent advisory firm dedicated to delivering technical and consulting services to the international energy sector.

Compensation:

£65,000 - £70,000 plus Car Allowance and additional Benefits with a Hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, assess, and interpret project financial data, identifying discrepancies and proposing alternatives to the Project Manager. Generate reports to support project-specific evaluations and analyses.
  • Gather, validate, and supply personnel costs to the commercial division for invoicing purposes.
  • Provide actual versus planned cost data for Cost Performance Index (CPI) assessments.
  • Produce weekly and monthly financial and labor reports, detailing planned, actual, and forecasted figures.
  • Ensure that cost estimates are developed using industry-standard methodologies, including the latest resource-loaded schedules and Earned Value Management (EVM) productivity, to guarantee precise and reliable forecasting.
  • Deliver insights on financial variances and trends for management review.
  • Mentor and assist junior team members in their professional development.
  • Maintain essential cost management communication with Finance and commercial teams, ensuring consistent dialogue.
  • Support change management processes and integrate modifications into relevant cost management documentation.
  • Assist in the management of contingency funds.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree, HNC, or HND in quantity surveying, construction, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
