Company Description:
B&M Waste Services Limited is a specialist consumer goods manufacturer based in Cheshire, near Manchester. They have significant demand for their products and as a result have a newly created opportunity within their manufacturing team for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support their continued growth in efficiency, revenues, and profitability.
Job Summary:
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be accountable for developing and implementing CI activities throughout the plant, using Lean methodology and tools to analyze and report on manufacturing processes, reporting on key areas of performance and identifying areas for process improvement. In addition, you will monitor, document, and analyze OEE performance and deliver improvement.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, metrics, and KPIs to measure and track the success of activities.
- Implement Lean principles and tools to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
- Ideally Degree educated with extensive experience delivering CI projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent understanding of Quality Management Systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
