Position Overview
As a JCB Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Repairing and maintaining diverse types of JCB machinery.
- Maintaining precise records of work performed.
- Diagnosing and resolving machinery issues to ensure optimal performance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Demonstrating and installing machinery as required.
- Collaborating with service and workshop managers to meet demanding timelines.
- Traveling to customer locations in your designated area to service and repair machinery (a valid driving license is required).
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess:
- A Level 3 qualification in Land Based Engineering or an equivalent credential in HGV, Plant, or Construction.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers and colleagues.
- A willingness to participate in additional training and specific manufacturer courses to enhance and update skills.
- Experience working with JCB machinery or similar agricultural equipment, with a readiness to work overtime during peak agricultural seasons.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform under pressure in challenging conditions.
