EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A SENIOR FACILITIES ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineer ready to take on a leadership role within our organization. This position offers a unique chance to develop your career in supervision and management while contributing to our commitment to excellence.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Facilities Engineer, you will support your line manager and guide team members in the execution of our facilities management contracts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to reactive tasks assigned through our Help Desk, ensuring compliance with company standards and timely response.
  • Achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs) set by the Contract Manager in collaboration with Supervisors.
  • Conducting Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) efficiently and according to established procedures.
  • Managing stock levels and ordering necessary supplies to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Completing all work-related documentation accurately and punctually.
  • Adhering to company Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A formal technical education in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines, with a minimum of ONC level or equivalent, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management or building services maintenance.
  • Alternatively, an experienced tradesperson with a minimum of 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience in their trade and relevant facilities management experience.
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to engage courteously with staff, clients, and colleagues.
  • Eligibility to pass DBS checks.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

We offer an annual salary of up to £45,000, in addition to overtime and standby allowances. Benefits include a company vehicle, pension plan, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and a mobile phone.
