Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Room Leader to join our team at Hucclecote Day Nursery in Gloucester.

As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our children, ensuring their needs are met, and building effective relationships with parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and mentor room staff in their day-to-day duties and quality of learning journeys and observations
  • Be a champion of ongoing development, supporting apprentices in your team
  • Stay up to date with current developments in early years policies and practices
  • As a key person, you will ensure that the needs of your key children are met, build effective relationships with parents, and support with any SEND needs
  • Carry out observations, plan activities in line with the EYFS, and support the development of your key children
